In this opening sequence the type of music played is very soft and calming, it is also paired with a voice-over. The shots in the scenes in the first three minutes contain a lot of light which could relate to the content of the rest of the film in a spirit-raising tone. The footage contains past memories of the characters and eventually build up to the present day which is after the titles have finished and the film begins.
