The types of clothes that the characters are wearing
Lighting:


  • Low key lighting - created by using the key and back lights. It produces a sharp contrast of light and dark areas. Deep, distinct shadows/ silhouettes formed. E.g Horror
  • High key lighting - More filler lights are used. Lighting is natural and realistic to our eyes. Produces brightly lit sets or a sunny day. E.g Rom-com

  • Actors:
    How many characters are there and are they the main character
    Makeup:
    The makeup of the characters and if it is different to portray a certain era or culture
    Props:
    What props are used and if there are any key props that could be symbolic with the plot
    Setting:
    The location of the scenes and if they are interior, inside, or exterior, outside, which can change in different genres

    Editing 
    Transition:
    How a scene goes from one to another
    Different types:
    - Straight cut
    - Wipe
    - Slide
    - Dissolve
    - Cube spin

    Order of narrative:
    The order of the story
    Different types:
    - Flashback
    - Progress
    - Beginning to the end
    - Backwards
      
    Pace:
    How quickly it is cut, if the shot is going slow or fast

    Special effects:
    Things added on top of the original shot
